Your new role
At Volvo Group, logistics is more than just moving parts, it’s about shaping the future of transport and society.
As a Transport Material Coordinator, you play a central role in operations. You ensure that every part arrives at the right place at exactly the right time. You’ll be a key player in driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainability across the global supply chain.

Your responsibilities include:
  • Leading and coordinating the transport of parts from global suppliers to the end customer
  • Acting as the point of contact for operational questions, customer requests, and logistical challenges
  • Organizing urgent transport solutions quickly and accurately
  • Resolving transport issues such as late deliveries or missing documents
  • Monitoring customs and invoicing processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Collaborating across departments and countries on impactful projects that keep production lines running
  • Tracking the performance of external logistics partners and making adjustments where needed

Your profile
  • You speak fluent English, Dutch is a strong plus!
  • You hold a higher education degree or have relevant experience
  • You are proactive and naturally positive
  • You have solid Excel skills
    and are eager to learn internal systems
  • You are willing to work early or late shifts 2 out of every 6 weeks; the other 4 weeks follow a regular daytime schedule
  • You are a true team player with strong communication skills
