We are looking for an experienced Software Tester to join our client's team. As a software tester, you'll be playing a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software.

Your new role

- Process improvement: Propose and implement improvements to the testing process.

- Creating test scenarios: Develop test scenarios based on user story acceptance criteria.

- Stress testing: Design test scenarios for stress testing the system.

- Test planning: Create comprehensive test plans.

- Test execution: Perform test cycles for both acceptance and non-regression testing.

- Data management: Collect and organize relevant test data.

- Analysis of results: Analyze test results and report defects.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, reviews and grooming sessions.

- Requirement gathering : Provide input to product owners during the requirement gathering process.

- Test automation: Propose and implement test automation where it adds value.

Your profile

- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

- Experience: Previous experience in software testing.

- Familiarity with tools: Proficiency with test management software (preferably Xray).

- Process knowledge : A good understanding of software testing processes.

- Automation skills: Experience with test automation.

- Critical thinking: A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills.

- Communication: Effective communication skills.

- Location: You are willing to work at least 3 days/week at our offices in Roeselare
