Your new role

As a Secure Transaction Solution Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of secure chip-based technologies used in digital payment systems. You will be responsible for writing and updating detailed technical specifications, particularly for EMV and M/Chip Advance implementations. Your tasks will include managing EMV certifications, supporting the full lifecycle of secure credential issuance, and ensuring compliance with international standards. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners, contribute to transaction analysis, and participate in Agile-driven improvement initiatives. Your work will directly support the reliability and security of large-scale digital transaction infrastructures.

Your profile

• Languages: Fluent in English and French or Dutch
• Education: Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Strong expertise in EMV standards, including M/Chip Advance technologies
• Proven experience in writing and maintaining technical specifications for secure transaction systems
• Familiarity with chip card technologies (contact and contactless)
• Knowledge of cryptographic protocols such as RSA, ECC, 3DES, and AES
• Experience in key management and secure credential lifecycle
• Comfortable working in a documentation-heavy and regulated environment
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Experience with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Webfocus is a plus
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities, especially in cross-functional and international contexts
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple technical projects simultaneously
