Financial Controller

Ghent | Financial & Business Controller | English Dutch | 3+ years' experience | Attractive salary package
For one of our clients, Hays is looking for a Financial Controller in Ghent:

What you'll be doing :
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial management reports
  • Build a deep understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow, and KPIs
  • Prepare annual budgets for different business units
  • Control and optimize operational costs and calculate compensation plans
  • Act as a key user of financial reporting tools and develop KPI reports and dashboards
  • Provide ad hoc finance and accounting support, including coordination of annual financial statements and tax returns, preparation of consolidated financial statements, and assistance during financial audits
  • Support financial integration of acquisitions and M&A due diligence
What we're looking for :
  • Master's degree in Business Economics/Administration or Finance
  • 2–5 years of experience in controlling or auditing (experience in Big4 is an asset)
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Analytical, accurate, hands-on, and proactive mindset
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, with a good knowledge of French
