As a Senior HR Manager Europe you will coordinate the policies, activities and staff of the Human Resources (HR) team in Europe. Ensuring the legal compliance and making sure the implementation of the Global HR strategy aligns with the organisation strategy. You will work closely with the Senior HR Managers from the UK, US and India on group projects and provide support to the Global HR team. This role covers five principle countries within Europe - Belgium, Germany, France, Spain and Netherlands with approximately 270 employees in total; and the company is still growing. You will be responsible of the research and analysis of organisation trends including review of reports and metrics from the organisations human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system. In this function you will monitor and ensure the organisations compliance with regional and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance. From time to time you will have to maintain new technologies and change in the HR, talent management and employment law. Those changes have to be communicated with the upper management and be applied in the company’s policy. You oversee the administration of human resource programs of different topics. Besides that you have to take care of the development and implementation of the departmental budget and ensure completion of payroll and liaising with payroll suppliers and financial department. Finally, you identify staffing and recruiting needs. You will supervise 2 employees in Belgium and several moral more in other countries.
You obtained a master degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a degree in a related field supplemented with at least 7 years in the human resource management environment. The ideal candidate has experience within a multinational organisation. You have a good knowledge of employment law and regulations, Finance and business issues and you feel comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite or other related software’s. Additionally, you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, English and French as you have to communicate cross-border. You are able to lead a team and therefore you have strong supervisory skills
