Your new role

As an IT Support Technician, you will be a key member of the Technology Services Group (TSG), providing essential technical support to internal users. You’ll be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to the continuous improvement of IT services. This is a hands-on role that combines technical troubleshooting, user support, and system maintenance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for IT support requests
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and operating systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, repairs, and support activities
  • Enforce IT policies and ensure compliance with internal standards
  • Manage user accounts and access rights
  • Coordinate off-site repairs with external vendors
  • Test and deploy new applications and system updates
  • Monitor data backups and perform recovery tests
  • Support and mentor junior IT staff
  • Lead training sessions for end users

Your profile

We’re looking for a tech-savvy and service-oriented individual who enjoys solving problems and working in a team. You should be organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities with a calm and analytical mindset.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English; minimum good understanding of one of the local languages (French or Dutch); additional languages are a plus
  • Experience in a technical support or customer service role, ideally in a corporate environment
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and IT service management systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside regular hours when needed
