Your new role

• Providing deskside support by troubleshooting IT-related incidents involving software and hardware, including mobile devices, laptops, PCs, and printers.
• Acting as a local point of contact for technical teams, offering remote assistance as needed.
• Assisting with the installation of new or upgraded systems and applications, participating in testing and troubleshooting.
• Supporting meeting room setups for video conferences and presentations, ensuring smooth operations during these events.
• Keeping colleagues informed about the progress of their incident or service requests.
• Managing stock and handling tasks related to new joiners, leavers, and movers.
• Traveling to various offices to provide on-site support as required.
• Documenting work performed, including resolution steps, in the IT Service Management (ITSM) system.
• Regularly reviewing and updating incidents and requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintaining Knowledge Base articles within the ITSM.
• Being available to work outside normal hours for project work or major service outages.

Your profile

• A proven background in information technology with relevant experience.
• A dynamic personality and a strong desire to see incidents through to resolution.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A flexible approach to work, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
• A collaborative mindset that encourages teamwork.
• The capability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
