Your new role
As the procurement & logistics manager you will have multiple responsibilities. First, you will be responsible for optimizing the inventory management process across different entities by maintaining minimum stock levels, negotiating competitive prices with freight forwarders and logistics providers, and by designing a self-controlled supply chain system. Secondly, you will be managing the logistics operation in terms of procurement, ordering, and transportation, negotiating with suppliers, and identifying new suppliers. You will also ensure that the warehouse is well-structured, with zero stock variance and proper documentation from ordering to delivery. Additionally, you will play a role in digitalisation and system upgrades, and you will issue a weekly report for all ongoing orders and shipments per entity.
