Your new role
As a Production Support Supervisor, you will lead a team responsible for essential support activities in the manufacturing of CAR-T cell therapies.
You will coordinate tasks such as Grade B room cleaning, material transfer and replenishment, sterilization, and cryopreservation.
You will ensure these processes are executed safely and in compliance with cGMP standards, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coach the production support team
Act as the point of contact for quality and GMP compliance within support operations
Manage documentation such as batch records, SOPs, and work instructions
Coordinate and optimize support activities and schedules
Support tech transfer and process improvement initiatives
Lead daily Tier 1 & Tier 2 meetings to ensure clear communication and task alignment
Prepare for internal and external audits
Ensure compliance with EHS and GMP regulations
Your profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a GMP or ATMP environment.
At least 5 years of leadership experience managing teams of 10+ people.
Fluent in both Dutch and English.
Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
Hands-on mindset with great attention to detail.
Clear and structured communication.
Experience with Lean/Operational Excellence is a plus.
Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Flexibility to work overtime on short notice.
You must also have a registered address in Belgium, preferably near Ghent.
