Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of electrification projects, from bid phase to delivery and commissioning. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and act as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing technical and financial aspects of rail electrification projects
- Coordinating engineering, procurement, and installation activities
- Leading bid preparation and technical-commercial analysis of specifications
- Ensuring project execution aligns with planning, budget, and quality standards
- Supporting commissioning and resolving technical issues during warranty and maintenance phases.
- Participating in client meetings and site visits
- Collaborating with internal departments on procurement, budgeting, and reporting
The role is based primarily in Huizingen, with occasional travel to client sites across Belgium.
Your profile
You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering, and have at least 5 years of experience in project management within infrastructure or technical environments. You are commercially minded, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders. You demonstrate strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Language requirements:
- Dutch fluency is essential, with good comprehension of French.
- Candidates fluent in either Dutch or French and able to understand the other language are also considered.
- Professional proficiency in English is required
- Knowledge of German is a plus.
- You are comfortable working in a hybrid setup and can adapt to a fast-paced, technically complex environment.
What you’ll get in return
