We are seeking for one of our client an experienced and knowledgeable R&D Manager with a technical background in Robot Casting Technology to join our team. The R&D Manager will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and specialists in the development of new products and solutions, ensuring they are current with the most advanced R&D developments in the market.

Your main responsibilities will be the following: - Collaborate with the Technico-Commercial team to establish project goals and priorities - Conduct preliminary R&D assessments based on product specifications and outsourced component specifications - Develop research programs to improve existing products and study the potential of new products - Design automation, mechanical and mechatronics solutions in accordance with technical specifications - Manage the product validation process, defining simulation and testing protocols, and control procedures - Manage trial or testing programs for products/solutions - Mentor and manage a team of R&D engineers (8 people), monitoring team metrics and objectives to ensure meeting of goals - Assess the scope of research projects and ensure they are on time and within budget - Manage customer relationships and perform Product development reviews, customer visits, and product testing - Transfer new technologies, products, and manufacturing processes and documentations to Engineering team once NPI process is completed - Maintain efficient and dynamic collaboration with other technical entities - Drive new products development and new products introductions (NPI) by leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialists

Master in Mechanical engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience in the robotic world, you present relevant technical skills: - Good knowledge in Automation Field instrumentation: Sensors, actuators, IO checks - Good knowledge in Mechanics, Hydraulics & Pneumatics Design - Expert in project management field - Process simulation including interfacing between Robots & PLC’s (Kuka Sim / TIA PLCsim) - Good knowledge in Machine, Process and People safety But you also presents soft skills such as: - Leadership skills to manage and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialists - Result-oriented mindset - Capacity of overseeing an entire development process - Keen attention to details - Decision-making skills - Excellent communication skills in English You are open to travel internationally (15 to 20% of time maximum)
