Your new role
As a Rust Developer, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team working on the modernization of a real-time control system that governs railway traffic across multiple zones. Your role will be pivotal in transitioning legacy components to Rust, enhancing system safety and performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing core software modules in Rust.
- Supporting the migration from C to Rust, including mentoring team members.
- Participating in architectural decisions and contributing to technical documentation.
- Engaging in safety and security assessments such as TRA and FMEA.
- Collaborating on the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
You’ll work in an environment where precision and reliability are paramount, and your contributions will directly impact the safety of thousands of daily commuters.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a strong technical foundation and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate will bring:
Technical skills:
Advanced proficiency in Rust.
Solid experience with C programming.
Familiarity with Linux environments and debugging tools.
Version control expertise using Git.
Bonus: scripting in Python or Bash, experience with Java.
Soft skills:
Detail-oriented and quality-driven.
Strong communicator and collaborative team player.
Curious, solution-focused, and eager to learn.
