Your new role:
As a Senior System Engineer, you will be responsible for the operational management of the infrastructure of the clients assigned to you. Your duties will include providing operational support, implementing, patching, upgrading, or migrating the client’s infrastructure, and handling incident and service requests in accordance with internal processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying up to date with technology evolutions, becoming a subject matter expert in your field, guiding colleagues with complex technical questions, and supporting the sales team with your technical expertise. You will also have ownership for the client relationship and will be recognized as a technical expert by clients from whom to seek advice. Lastly, you will be part of a 24x7 support team.

As a Senior System Engineer you need to have experience/be familiar with following technologies:

• Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows Server/10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Microsoft Technologies: Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange, IIS, SCCM, Intune, Azure Administrator Associate Certification
• Virtualization: VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, Horizon, SRM, Microsoft Hyper-V
• Storage: Fibre / iSCSI SAN, NAS, NFS
• Database: Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with Backup, enterprise infrastructure monitoring, vulnerability management and patching products
• Familiar with Dell or HP Server, Storage and Networking portfolio

What you will need to succeed:

• You are perfectly fluent in English and Dutch or French
• You have at least 5 years of experience as System Engineer
• You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in IT
• You have good communication skills
• You have good analytical and problem-solving skills and has an eye for performance.
• You are good at creating and enhancing high quality rated as-build documentation, implementation procedures and processes.
• You are customer oriented
