Freelance Service Desk Support Engineer for a client in the area of
Brussels.

Your tasks:
As a
Service Desk Support Engineer you are the first contact person for customers.
- are responsible to offer first and second line support to customers about technical issues and queries involving computer systems, applications and services.
- are able to prioritize incoming tickets (Service Desk), log them and categorise them.
- keep the customers informed and do a correct follow-up of their tickets.
- track issues to resolution, ensuring timely and appropriate ticket closures.
- can diagnostic system errors and other issues.
- follow the company procedures
- document everything well and share your knowledge with team colleagues
Your profile:
As a
Service Desk Support Engineer you have experience with support/helpdesk/ Service Desk tools
You have experience in
EDI/XML, Networking, VPN
You have knowledge of Microsoft related products, Network solutions/technologies, EDI, Oracle Database, Jira, Java Enterprise application.
You are a real problem solver and love trouble shooting.
You are a team player, but when needed you can work independent.
You are able to execute queries in Oracle Database and SQL
You have experience with Unix/Linux
You have experience in creating/maintaining technical documentation and manuals
You are fluent in the
English language and you work well under pressure.
