Our client is a leading global licensor in Belgium, overseeing the intellectual property rights for beloved characters created by a renowned artist. The diverse activities span Book Publishing, Audiovisual Distribution, Music, Merchandising & Promotions, and Family Entertainment.

Your new role

We are currently looking for a Studio Operations Manager for the in-house studio, overseeing CG and Multimedia, 2D and Book Publishing, Graphic Design & Approvals.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day studio operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient production processes.

• Collaborate with in-house departments and external clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• Be the liaison between artists and clients, implementing and improving operational procedures.

• Prepare and manage project budgets, analyze financial data, and make informed decisions about resource management.

• Oversee financial transactions and maintain accurate records.

• Liaise with clients and in-house departments to meet project needs while managing budgets and timelines.

• Create and manage the studio's planning, allocate necessary resources, and improve operational procedures.

• Provide administrative support to the studio's Art Directors.

Your profile

• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Solid understanding of production workflows, scheduling, and budgeting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proactive problem-solving mindset to address operational challenges.

• Ability to align and motivate team members, work independently, and manage conflicting demands.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products and project management tools.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Project Management or Communications.

• 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Studio Manager, preferably in animation or advertising.

• Bilingual English/French. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
