With a team of experts, it delivers high-performance Ethernet/IP solutions to a wide range of clients including government institutions, universities, utility providers, and data centers. Your new role

As a System & Security Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining mission-critical IP/Security networks. These networks support real-time communication systems used in public infrastructure, education, and transport.

Key responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and validate IP/Security network solutions
  • Monitor network performance and respond to alerts using management systems
  • Participate in a 24/7 monitoring rotation to analyze and resolve technical issues
  • Support field teams during installation and maintenance
  • Collect performance data and propose improvements
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve technical challenges
  • Conduct site inspections and maintain system documentation
  • Implement updates and changes to existing systems
  • Promote a safety-conscious work environment


Your profile

You are a proactive and reliable engineer with a logical mindset and a passion for technology. You are comfortable working independently or within a multidisciplinary team and can manage multiple priorities effectively.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree e.g. Engineering degree
  • Skills or certification in Fortinet, Cisco, routing, switching, firewall
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch (most important), English and French
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience with IP/Security networks or willingness to learn
  • Comfortable interacting with clients and presenting technical solutions
