Legend Biotech is a global biotechnology company dedicated to developing and manufacturing life-saving cell therapies, such as CAR-T, for the treatment of cancer. They collaborate with Johnson & Johnson to produce advanced therapies for multiple myeloma.

Your new role

• Lead and coach the production support team
• Act as the point of contact for quality and GMP compliance within support operations
• Manage documentation such as batch records, SOPs, and work instructions
• Coordinate and optimize support activities and schedules
• Support tech transfer and process improvement initiatives
• Lead daily Tier 1 & Tier 2 meetings to ensure clear communication and task alignment
• Prepare for internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with EHS and GMP regulations

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a GMP or ATMP environment.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing teams of 10+ people.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English.
• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Hands-on mindset with great attention to detail.
• Clear and structured communication.
• Experience with Lean/Operational Excellence is a plus.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Flexibility to work overtime on short notice.
• You must also have a registered address in Belgium, preferably near Ghent.
