Are you a strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset and a passion for optimizing procurement operations? We’re looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing activities and supplier relationships in a dynamic industrial environment.

Your new role
As Purchasing Manager, you will oversee both strategic sourcing and operational procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential for industrial operations and facility management. You will report directly to the Managing Director acting as Operations Director, and collaborate closely with production, R&D, finance, and other internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage key strategic suppliers with a proactive, cooperative, and efficient approach.
  • Lead and develop the purchasing team, setting clear goals and KPIs.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts to optimize cost, quality, and delivery while supporting working capital objectives.
  • Implement procurement strategies aligned with production schedules, cost targets, and product evolution.
  • Master and enhance internal ERP systems for continuous improvement.
  • Document procedures and ensure traceability for management, training, and ISO compliance.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks through dual sourcing and contingency planning.
  • Foster innovation and sustainability with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with other entities to leverage group-level supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Analyze market trends and provide structured intelligence for strategic decisions and budgeting.
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial purchasing or supply chain management.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
  • Fluent in French and English; other languages are an asset.
