Hays is looking for a Functional Analyst for one of its international client in Brussels.

Your new role:
As a IT Functional Analyst, you are looking for a challenging work environment in the field of software analysis, design and testing. You will be interacting with numerous stakeholders between business and IT.
You are interest to work in an “Agile” environment and are looking for a focus on life-insurance.
You will be in charge of reviewing and detailing business requirements and map these to the impacted applications. Moreover, you will be asked to create detailed functional designs.
Regarding your technical knowledge, you will coordinate with the technical designers and developers on site and off-shore. You are able to prepare and execute application tests.
Furthermore, you will need to support user acceptance tests and ensure production stability, analyse and follow-up possible incidents.

What you will need to succeed:
The ideal candidate has a higher education or equivalent overall experience. The candidate has either a relevant experience in an analyst role covering functional analysis, design and application testing or as an alternative, the candidate has a strong experience in technical design and would like to grow towards a functional designer role.
The candidate must be fluent in English and French or Dutch and a good understanding of the third language is required.
A experience in life insurance is a plus and strong affinity for IT is must.
The ideal candidate is a good listener, well-structured and pays attention to details. Additionally, they should be proactive, creative and be a team player.
