Your new role
As an IT Support Engineer, you will have an important role in the company. Below you will find a list of what you will be doing:

  • Be the go-to person for end-users, helping them on-site or remotely.
  • Coordinate between the central EDP department and end-users.
  • Manage IT matters like hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Handle orders for tech gear, making sure everything arrives smoothly.
  • Take care of computers, servers, printers, and telecom gear.
  • Make sure everything runs smoothly by fixing system and app issues.
  • Connect new hardware to the network.
  • Keep data safe with backup management.
  • Improve the current tech setup and sort out issues with outside tech vendors.
  • Be on standby for evening support.

Your profile

  • You speak Dutch, French, and English.
  • You know your way around operating systems like Linux and Windows.
  • You are familiar with technology such as Cisco, MS Office, Active Directory, and Virtuel Machines VMware.
  • You have a good knowledge of software systems such as Lotus Notes, Tivoli, Citrix,…
  • You like to solve problems, talk to users, and plan things carefully.
