Hays is looking for a Functional Analyst/Project Manager for one of our clients in Brussels.

The role you will take:

• Plan and coordinate project work while participating in content-related tasks.
• Review and detail business requirements, mapping them to impacted applications.
• Create detailed functional designs for the projects.
• Coordinate with technical designers and developers, both on-site and offshore.
• Prepare and execute application tests.
• Provide support for user acceptance tests.
• Ensure production stability and analyse and follow up on any incidents.

Your profile:

• Higher education or equivalent overall experience.
• Relevant experience in an analyst role covering functional analysis, design, and application testing, with some coordination experience.
• Language skills: English is mandatory, along with either French or Dutch (a good understanding of the third language is required).
• Experience in life insurance is a plus, with a strong affinity for IT being essential.
• The candidate should possess good listening skills, be well-structured, detail-oriented, proactive, creative, and a team player.
