Our client is a mid-sized, privately-owned and innovation-driven company with a strong international footprint and specializing in a niche area. They are driven to seek life-changing medicines and solutions for patients. To strengthen their Marketing department, they are looking to recruit an Established Brands Assets Lead responsible for the Frabenelux region. The position is based in Belgium.

Your new role

The established Brands Assets Lead is responsible and accountable for overseeing and guiding strategic activities to ensure the growth and maximize the performance of the key cluster of Established Brands (EB), and this in compliance with local regulations.


  • Brand Strategy Development:
- Directing the development of the cluster and countries’ brand plan for EB.
- Ensuring alignment with the global strategy, especially regarding EB investment priorities.
- Identifying profit maximization opportunities and leading cross-business teams to deliver on them.
- Derives critical insights that will enable the behavioural change strategy to tailor EB benefits to customer needs.
- Drive the selection of the right investments to maximise brand value in the cluster countries

  • Brand Tactics and Communication:
- Managing the Commercial Solutions Partner for the BeNeLux region.
- Implementing global brand tactics and developing customer-oriented local tactics.
- Tailoring communication plans to different customer needs.

  • Customer Experience and Brand Performance:
- Contributing to CX and Customer Journey definitions.
- Validating their local relevance and providing input into global strategies.
- Regularly reviewing brand performance and forecasting.

  • Collaboration and Risk Management:
- Facilitating best practice sharing among cluster countries.
- Advising on brand-related aspects for requesting countries.
- Identifying potential risks for continued success with EB.

  • Market Research and Training:
Defining necessary activities for market research.
Managing the development of an EB commercial training program and material.

  • Customer Insights and KPIs:
- Collaborating with Comex to track customer experience.
- Defining KPIs to monitor EB campaigns[


Your profile

  • University degree (Master) in Business or Sciences
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical industry with commercial & business scope
  • Experience in mature product and/or generics field
  • Has successfully managed product loss of exclusivity at global or a local level
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Strong experience with digital promotion
  • Experience in leading teams in a matrix organization and international setting
  • Fluent in Business English, ideally knowledge of French and Dutch.
