Your new role
This role combines strategic sourcing, procurement, and production planning to ensure a seamless flow of materials supporting production, customer demand, and inventory goals. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, sales, and quality teams.
Planning & Coordination
- Develop and maintain supply and production plans based on forecasts and business needs
- Execute MRP runs and manage timely procurement of raw materials and components
- Optimize inventory levels and align supply plans with production schedules
- Coordinate closely with manufacturing, engineering, and sales to ensure alignment between supply, production, and customer demand.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Manage purchase orders and supplier relationships
- Negotiate lead times, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
- Support new product introductions and indirect procurement processes.
Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate ERP data and analyze key supply chain KPIs
- Contribute to S&OP activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your profile
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in a Buyer/Planner or similar role
- At least 2 years of experience in people management
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
Preferred
- Experience in regulated industries (medical devices, pharma, aerospace).
- Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and ISO standards.
- APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.
- Experience with international suppliers and freight forwarders.
