We are looking for a Communication Assistant with an excellent command of English (both written and spoken) for a trendy international company active in the legal sector, based in Brussels. You will work closely with colleagues across various offices and departments and gain hands-on experience with the firm’s clients, sectors, and legal expertise.

Your new role

  • Assist in drafting the European marketing newsletter and quarterly/annual reports.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of legal updates to clients (layout for print/web/email, approvals, website publication, and readership reporting).
  • Write internal announcements and news articles for the website.
  • Draft and update lawyer biographies.
  • Manage the CRM system (contact management, reporting, user support).
  • Create marketing materials such as brochures and presentations.
  • Support the organization and follow-up of various events (invitations, registrations, ordering materials, guest reception, full event coordination).
  • Maintain contact with external suppliers and attend events and seminars.

Your profile

  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented and precise in your work.
  • Proactive with a strong “go-getter” attitude.
  • Looking for a long-term position.
  • Willing to support other departments and handle various administrative tasks.
  • Flexible and open to attending client events and seminars. Willing to travel 3 to 4 times per year for work.
  • Professional demeanor and able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Assets
  • Previous experience in marketing or event organization.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as InterAction, Salesforce, or Foundation.
  • Understanding of the legal market and its competitive landscape.
  • Experience with marketing technologies such as Vuture.
