Your new role
As Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of a broad range of accounting processes, ensuring compliance with BEGAAP and IFRS. Your responsibilities include:
  • Managing general accounting activities: AP, AR, payroll postings, fixed assets, project accounting, revenue recognition, and tax‑related entries
  • Preparing monthly and year‑end closings
  • Ensuring accurate statutory and group reporting
  • Coordinating mandatory declarations such as VAT and Intrastat
  • Handling internal and external audit requests
  • Supporting annual accounts and income tax submissions
  • Preparing internal reports and intercompany reconciliations
  • Analyzing business transactions and identifying potential process improvements
  • Maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders in Dutch, French and English
In this role, you will act as a key reference point and the right-hand and sparring partner to the CFO.

Your profile
You have a solid finance background and feel comfortable taking ownership of end‑to‑end accounting processes. The ideal profile includes:
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in general accounting, preferably in an international environment
  • Strong knowledge of BEGAAP and IFRS
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, professional level of French
  • Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of BI tools and advanced Excel skills are an asset.
  • A structured, analytical mindset with an eye for accuracy
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
  • A proactive, solution‑oriented attitude and strong communication skills
